I have been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. I have self portraits of myself as an 8 year old, in the days where most 8 year olds didn't have cameras. I guess it's been sort of a family thing. My dad always had cameras, so I always had hand me down cameras; then my father bought me my first DSLR camera which really sparked my passion for photography.

As long as I can remember, I've been intrigued by stories. I remember listening to the radio and asking my mom what story a certain lyric was trying to convey (though I'm pretty sure she made up every one of her explanations on the spot). Then I discovered that the world did not revolve around me, and there were literally millions of stories taking place around me every day.

I am passionate about my job. To me, there is something magical about capturing a fleeting moment on "film." I guess it's sort of like hunting... only I don't like hunting. So, it's like hunting, but not really. We'll leave it at that.
